From a financial institution's point of view, I cannot see why all County Treasurers’ Offices would not want to utilize GovTech Services. The efficiencies that we have been able to take advantage of are efficient and timely posting of our clients’ taxes. We no longer have our clients bring in their tax bill, nor do we have to request tax bills from the various Treasurers’ Offices. This was an additional expense to us and I would have to think an expense to the Treasurer’s Office as well.
We utilized GovTech Services for the first time during our most recent tax cycle. In all, GovTech prevented over $460,000 worth of over-payments from ever reaching our office. Additionally, we have been very impressed with the quick response of the support team any time we have a question.
GovTech Services has helped us with our efficiencies with our relationships with our mortgage companies. We have noticed a significant decrease in our refunds during our payment processing. The implementation and the follow-through has just been amazing! It has really helped us out with the phone calls and refunds. Our Property Tax Manager has been very pleased as it has taken a lot of pressure off of her so she could work on other things because it is that simple
We have an in-house tax system. So we were concerned whether Escrow Pro would be able to work with the specific program, but it wasn’t a problem at all. Our programmer worked with GTS and it was done just like that, and it’s been smooth sailing ever since. We’ve had to make some tweaks along the way, but it was basically one phone call or one email and it was done.
It’s excellent! I’ve been in the Treasurer’s office for 18 years, and we absolutely love GovTech Services!
